11.28.09	Home DVD	Uh-huh. This was another @BTSJunkie recommendation. It'll probably make my year-end "Best Vintage Film Discovery" top ten. It's an insane Australian action/noir about a badass jerk-y mid-level crime guy/nightclub owner who decides to rip off his superiors, the Triad, and some Asian investors, all on the same night. The entire thing takes place in the main guy's nightclub over the course of a single night, and it's a joy to see him get more and more worn down and unhinged as the night goes on and he fends off wave after wave of bad(der) guys. And at one point, he lights his shoes on fire so that he can deliver even deadlier kicks. The movie is nothing but good stuff, highly recommended for a beers-and-buds night.
