The film's actual title is La Hora Frķa. So... a small group of survivors is living in a bunker. We get the sense that they've been there a long time (at least a year or more), and know their rations are dwindling, and that they fear to leave the bunkers to get more supplies. Something is out there... something that the survivors have no idea how to deal with. That's all I'm going to say about the film's plot. It's a brilliant little piece of filmmaking that is told in a very clinical, almost tv-day-in-the-life documentary, style (though without narration or anything like that). The fact that the movie seems so "real" had me *very* invested in the characters when the plot finally started really rolling. If you like this, check out Peter Watkins' Fällan (1975), which has a similar vibe. |
